Post What is the Best Attraction for Players?

Hi People!

I have been promoting for a while but really I just want to see feedback from everyone and see what works where!

Of course you get Rakeback, No Deposit Bonus, Freerolls etc and I want to see what everyone thinks.

There really is no magic answer. It really depends on the site that one is running, and the traffic they are targetting. I can promote something at one site that will get big conversions, while if I promote it at another site will get very little.

DealerDan speaks the truth.

There are people who will spend ridiculous amounts of energy on finding the deals that will optimize their earnings, while others who don't even bother to look if they are getting a sign up bonus.

In the latest PAP radio show the owner of www.pokerforfree.org talks a bit about how it is really hard to earn any money from the people who are looking for free stuff i.e. freerolls and no deposit bonuses.

Hi Guys,fficeffice" />>>
>>
Sigurd and Dealer Dan is 100% correct but I think PokerYG meant what works to make $$. >>
Again this would depend in whether you would like to target the Rakeback market (which is very competitive market) or try to target the No Deposit Bonuses and Freerolls Market.>>
> >
Red Star Poker have started to create small Online Poker Leagues which will increase revenue with regards to Freerolls, No Deposit Bonuses + plus small Buy-In’s if you are on Revenue Share. Excellent way of building a unique relationship with all your players and help you keep players playing.

Good Luck PokerYG!

I second that, bonus seeking players do convert well but they are not likely to fetch you any money

From my experience real players see the reputation of the site, how money transactions are handled and customer support. Majority of them don't even understand how bonuses work

As a player, when I am considering playing at a new room the important things to me are:
  1. Is the room trustworthy
  2. How hard is it to get money in
  3. How hard it to get money out
  4. How long will it take to get money out
The majority of players are casual players. Some of them are concerned about bonuses, but many are not. I used to chase bonuses everywhere, but now I don't care at all. The ready availability of my money is more important.

With regards to free money, i work with two big sites that focus on instant bankroll, as soon as we started the instant bankroll deal we set up deposit freerolls for these players, about 40% of the players that took the no deposit bonus deposit on a regular basis.

The tournaments pull in at least five figure deposits, but i agree without some kind of plan to convert the affiliate will not make a huge amount of money instant bankroll players.

What I have also noticed is that now we have a very heavy focus on rakeback with Pay No Rake players are not interested in the first deposit bonus or reload bonuses they just want play and get the daily rakeback payments.

I have found the best offers are tournaments for up to 15 players from a site. Players love to be in a tournament where they don't have to compete with loads of players to make money.

Site Traffic. It's a must. I dont want to be sitting around waiting for a game to start. This limits my options to the larger networks.

software stability. disconects are a no no.

Pokerstars are heads and shoulders above the rest on both counts.

If i was looking at bonuses it would be easy to clear bonuses and reloads. I would look at % rather than $$$ amount
