Wink Players & RakeBack !!!

Hi Everyone!

I currently promote RakeBack and would like to know everyone's opinion on this matter .

Is it better to have a good % for Players or Affiliates?

What I mean by this is for example 33% for our players and 8% for us or would you prefer 30% for our players and 12% for us.

I think a balance of these has to be made, but where is the balance?

I currently deal with the Russian Market advertising Red Star Poker but this software offers 33% - 8%. Tell me your thoughts because I tend to promote offline too, and if you have any helpful tips please include your thoughts.

Alex

Of course you would prefer 12% rather than 8% for yourself but I personally feel you should always be giving your players the best deal allowed because if you aren't someone else is. Take Red Star for example, you can't really afford to just offer 30% there when everyone and their grandmother can offer the max 33%. As a rakeback affiliate I think you have to be satisfied with 5-10% the majority of the time. If you can hit the upper tier of Red Star's affiliate program and receive 15% plus 33% for your players then you're doing great. 10-15% comission as a rakeback affiliate is above the norm so if you're in that category you're doing great.

Player Value is very important as if you were to offer 30% a player will find the other bonuses for a higher %

Hi AlexRSPAf

Just reading your post 33% it is not bad for player but if i where you I would stick to the standard offering from a poker site if you want to gain the trust from the players, i have one merchant that offers 35% to the player and 15% to the affiliate if you look at from a players pooint of view if they found that merchant on another site offering 30% and and another offer 35% which would you sign up with?

I might get shot for this but if you want a great deal for you and your players take a look at www.PayNoRake.com the structure is simple:

We offer players the chance to earn 100% RB this is paid daily to the players account and also calculated on a daily basis, for a player to hit 100% RB he must generate $220.01 in a 24 hour period, with PNR the affiliate is a 50/50 partner with us so lets say the player hits 60% RB in a 24 hour period we will split the other 40% rake with you 50/50 plus I will also pay you 50% of any casino games losses, so for example if a player drops $1000 at black jack I will split that with you 50/50.

Hope my post does not offend or upset anybody, AlexRSPAf if you want to talk about it in more details feel free to PM or add me.

Thanks

Shaun

I think RedStar is an excellent match for Russia, and the Cake network is doing ok. The thing is: YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE THIS BY MAKING MORE RAKE. so you question is a bit of a muuhh point.
I hate being under 15 % for my better deals, but i have a niche that hates datamining software, those guys used to hang out at PKR only (7-10 %), before cake came along with (8-12-15). Theres good potential in it, the way cake does you just have to accept. Dont think theres any AM that wanna risk getting kicked off the network, because they sweetened your deal.
