I just got approved for google adsense ads on my Chelsea Fc blog I made.

I was just wanting some feedback from some who have worked with adsense on ther webpages.

Questions I have for those who host these ads on thier sites:

1. How to make the maximum amount of cash with adsense and stay in google guidelines so they pay me?

2. How much money do you average a month hosting the adsense banners??
( I know this varies because certain topics pay better)

3. Do payments show up on time?

4. Have you had any problems with adsense or with google not wanting to pay?

5. What does google want to see as far as the traffic that gets to my site? Do they want a shit load of visitors to match my clicks or a low amount of traffic and a high click through ratio????

Please help me out guys I just want to make some good honest cash with this.

Thanks

Google Adsense terms and conditions state that you can't build pages solelyfor the purpose of displaying Google Adsense ads. This is easily avoided by having an affiliate link to another merchant on the same page, like Amazon or eBay.

The information in the user section on the Adsense pages is full of good information about maximizing your revenue.

Thanks . I know that your not supposed to build a site just for making money with adsense. I didn't do that at all. I was just asking some basic questions to affiliates who may have used them on there sites. The thing is I want to know if it's worth having the clutter on my site and if I can make some good money by having the adsense on my site. As I said in my original post, I'm not interested in scamming the system, just finding out if it's worth it and what people have experienced.

Adsense is my main business.. here are the answers to your questions.

1. How to make the maximum amount of cash with adsense and stay in google guidelines so they pay me?

The key with Adsense is: blending in the ads to go along with your content. A good trick is, make the background color of your ads the same as the background color of your page. Also, utilize Google's "heat map" page, which shows you the best place to put ads on your pages. It works, trust me.

2. How much money do you average a month hosting the adsense banners??
( I know this varies because certain topics pay better)

Lots. Not saying how much though Enough to pay the bills though, if my bills weren't already getting paid by being a poker affiliate.

3. Do payments show up on time?

Yes, no problems with payments.

4. Have you had any problems with adsense or with google not wanting to pay?

Not one problem.

5. What does google want to see as far as the traffic that gets to my site? Do they want a shit load of visitors to match my clicks or a low amount of traffic and a high click through ratio???

Google wants its advertisers to make money, so they want people clicking through on your ads that actually want the products / services the advertisers are advertising. It's as simple as that. Google has "smart pricing" which means, if people who are clicking through aren't buying, the amount you get paid per click goes down.

Awesome post, very very helpful.

I have a few non-poker related blogs a have been working for quite a while and I'm just going to start adsense on them. Your tips will no doubt help.

PR doesn't have any direct influence on how much money you receive. The only things that matter are:

1) number of visitors to your site

2) how many of these visitors click your ads

3) how many of these visitors buy the advertisers product / service
