Problem with Vegas Hotel...

Hey everybody! I've got a little problem. I really want to stay at the Venetian on Sept 12th, but they say that you have to be 21 to reserve a room. I'm only 20 years old (21 in November). I called them on the phone and they said that when we check in somebody would have to provide an ID showing that they are 21 years old and the place would have to be reserved by somebody who is 21 years old. What the heck am I supposed to do about this? I really want to stay at the Venetian because I don't plan on going back for awhile and I want to splurge this time.

Any suggestions or help with this?

You better find someone who is 21 and going down there unless your gonna be sleeping in a sportsbook somewhere.

Wait till november when your 21. its only 2 months away, think of all you can do there once your 21?

Speaking as someone who used to be in the hotel industry, that's not an unusual requirement in Vegas. Try to talk to a manager there. Get them to approve your stay.

I ended up booking at Caesars Palace, so everything is alright. They let you book if you are 18 or older

Ceasers is nice, but I have a feeling you wont be spending alot of time there.
Good luck gambling they are strick with the IDs.

I only say that because a few years back I got to Vegas at midnight after a long day on the road and we ended up staying up all night. A buddy talked me into playing in a tournament the next morning at 10:00 at Mandalay Bay. Well after breakfast we got there at 8:30 and I accidentally fell asleep in the sportsbook.

Security was sure to remind me that I couldn't do that. Worst part is I finished on the bubble by my buddy (still drunk......and drinking) knocked me out with some trash. By 1:00 in the afternoon I was a zombie.

Although that was the trip my dumb ass won 30K on a slot machine, so I really can't complain too much. For all you guys going out there this weekend be safe and have fun.

Also remember if she says she's not a cop, she probably is :P

In closing ......FU** I love Vegas!
