I disagree with that. They updated their terms of service agreement and it still says that rakeback is not allowed. They just got fed up with all those skins stabbing them in the back. I am glad Party laid the hammer on them.

Fact is, Party affiliate managers are calling bigger rakeback sites and telling them to convert their Empire and Eurobet customers. This is undeniable. It also should be deeply concerning to you as an affiliate. Instead you guys read this like it is of some advantage to you. You are reading this wrong.

Until Party allows rakeback who cares about converting players from Empire or Eurobet? That is what smart affiliates will try to do anyway since you can either have players at a big cardroom or a smaller cardroom.

Of course people will try to rip players off and weasel around Party's rules, but they will all be stamped out like before.

I disagree with that. They updated their terms of service agreement and it still says that rakeback is not allowed.
Just to clarify this, they updated the terms in the past 24 hours, and they state:

"You shall not and shall not authorize, assist or encourage any third party to: ....
3.2.9 Offer any so-called “rake-back” schemes or similar which offers or allows a proportion of the player’s rake to be returned to the player in any form;"

and

"You shall not: ....
3.6. iii. Offer any type of enticement of money or otherwise of monetary value or otherwise to potential Sub-Affiliates unless such enticements are approved in writing by us, including any so-called “rake-back” schemes where a proportion of the player’s rake is returned to the player in any form;"

Obviously Party doesn't have this stuff in here to fill space.

When I saw your post I knew the direction this was headed. Clearly I make all this stuff up. I was wrong, the website I posted was a complete farce. In fact no Party Poker Affiliate Manager ever called the biggest rakeback affiliate for Empire.

You guys are wrong. It is not the rakeback people that hurt the business it is the cardrooms that say one thing and do another and then hang out affiliates to dry.

I am the second biggest rakeback affiliate in all of online poker, I only know of one bigger than me and I will tell you this, I turn down more business in a single day than many people see in a months time. Not all rakeback affiliates are cheaters or scammers. It is when you are told to do something and that it is OK and then all of a sudden one day it isn't that is frustrating. And don't point to idiotic terms and agreements, those are a complete farce in the case of Party Poker.

I have never sent a customer to Party Poker, I am not saying that I will never send someone to them but my relationships are about partnerships. The people I do business with are good partners with me.

The switchbacktoparty site is a complete joke. That guy is an idiot spammer who just re-emerged out of the woodwork to take advantage of this situation. He used to spam RGP nonstop and then just disappeared. Notice his forum is all locked up. He had the forum locked as of a few months ago because it was full of complaints of him ripping people off. The guy is a complete joke but his shit has spread like wildfire since the skins were let loose.

Beanie- I did not disagree with you in general, just about the joke of a link that you posted.

I have seen the discussion on two+two from the rakeback guys, and it does appear that rakeback is on the way back at Party.
