Banner Manager in PHPBB

Anyone using PHPBB message boards ever incorporate any type of easy to use banner manager into the board. I did find this one http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/1254 but just curious to see if any of you guys have had any experience with something like this in phpbb.

I Don't use php cause of the security issues, but they have good forum. You
might find your answer from there....
