I have chosen to use the “Per sign up plan” at party poker because the people I know are not highrollers; they play small stakes cashgames and sit and go tournaments, and some of them only joined because of the sign up bonus. I have signed up 17 people in October and I have earned an additional 500 dollar for and October bonanza. My problem is for a couple of days ago I tried to log on to the IGM account and it says “Your Affiliate Account has been put on hold due to a possible violation of our Affiliate Agreement”. I instantly mailed my affiliate contact at partypoker and he told me that:

Party Poker needed to ensure that the players were signed up with the intention to play.
And it was done by measuring the revenue generated by the players. My revenue was low and therefore my account was put on hold, and if/when their revenue increased I would be able to receive a partial payment equivalent to the revenue, with the balance being released on subsequent revenue generation.

Article within the Party poker affiliate agreement:

4.5. Holdover for Fraud Traffic. In the event that, in our sole discretion, we suspect any Fraud Traffic, then we may delay payment of the Affiliate Fees to you for up to one hundred and eighty (180) days while we investigate and verify the relevant transactions. We are not obligated to pay Affiliate Fees in respect of Players who, in our sole discretion, are not verifiably who they claim to be or are otherwise involved with Fraud Traffic. In the event that we determine any activity to constitute Fraud Traffic, or to otherwise be in contravention of this Agreement, then in our sole discretion we may: (i) pay the Affiliate Fees in full, (ii) recalculate them in light of such suspected Fraud Traffic and/or (iii) forfeit your future Affiliate Fees in respect of Fraud Traffic (as appropriate).

“The accounts team views players that do not generated revenue and or are bonus hunters as fraud traffic”

The only thing I have done is to sign up players and tell people about party poker and try to get them to play there. Is it (legally) possible for them to hold back my money(maybe permanently) if “my players” just play to get their bonus and then leave???

What would you guys do?

- get a better class of players
- ask them to forego the bonanza because the players are low quality
- tell Party that your players are legit, but low quality and to please negotiate a rate with you based on those facts
