"PartyGaming Agrees to Buy MultiPoker to Control `Skin" Partner
2005-11-11 03:26 (New York)

By Paul Jarvis
Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- PartyGaming Plc, the owner of the
PartyPoker Web site, agreed to buy MultiPoker for $14.5 million
to gain ownership of one of its four marketing partners.
Arrangements with two of the company"s other so-called
``skin"" partners, IntertopsPoker.com and Coral Eurobet, are
ending, PartyGaming said today in a Regulatory News Service
statement. Coral is leaving the PartyGaming platform, while
IntertopsPoker will become an affiliate of PartyPoker, it said.
Gibraltar-based PartyGaming last week said it may buy Empire
Online Ltd., the fourth of the ``skins,"" after excluding all
four of its partners from its upgraded poker platform.

So what does this mean?

I do not like this part of the Yahoo story about the same thing:

The two deals add about 300,000 players to PartyGaming's PartyPoker Web site, but more importantly give the company access to Multipoker's Scandinavian clientele.

My main target is Norway, one of 3 Scandinavian countries.
Hopefully I atract mostly new players to my site (I think that is the case), or else I can see a decline in sign-ups from this
