So, I caught this kid trying to create multiple accounts with my No Deposit offer at
www.thepokerhookup.com. I called him up, and his dad answered the phone. He sounded concerned that his kid was gambling. His son, 19 and his friends play poker at the dinner table every night, but he only allows play chips. So you can imagine how shocked he was when he learned his kid was trying to scam a company out of real money accounts.
Anyways, I said I was thinking about pressing charges (complete lie), and that I would just forgive and forget if his son wrote me an apology note saying exactly which accounts he made and such. I wanted to get something out of it, maybe to eventually post on my website, or if not, just for laughs.
Here's what he wrote:
"Im emailing you to say that i apoligize for anything that i went
against on your policy. My friend Adam S. signed up on your site using
my email. I recently had signed up with you guys before once, and my
friend Adam heard about it and signed up. I was playing on the account
he created but had never received the bonus on that account. I was
told to email you my '' accounts. '' I'm not sure which accounts you
want? My partypoker accounts? If so, my party poker accounts are:
MarteMan and MarteMan2. Those are the only 2 PartyPoker accounts I
have used. Also the other account that was made by my friend Adam was
BicardiMarte on the PartyPoker. Again, I am very sorry for anything me
or my friend have done to go against your policy. If I left any
information out that you need, please email me to this email address.
-Zach Marte"
Not the most sincere apology... but I'll take it. Strange that his
friend with a different last name would have the account "BicariMARTE"
huh?
Guess he'll have to stick to play chips at the dinner table for awhile...
I hope daddy gave him a good beating!
