100 members in first month

Hey all,

Just hit the 100th member exactly 30 days after opening my forum, www.DeuceAce.com

This is the quickest I have reached the first milestone on any forum I started and hopefully this will also be the most successful, I am going all-in with this one.

I haven't done any paid advertising at all for the site so this is pretty good.

I have spent over $3000 already for various things for the site, some which aren't complete or public yet but I am sure it will pay off in the long run.

Id say I will be reaching the next milestone of 1000 posts pretty soon too

Congrats John, I am a member of this forum and I think it is a great little poker community that can only get bigger and better. This forum has a really bright future, and I am proud to be a member of it. It is hard to find a really great forum to chat on these days, and you definitely have yourself one. What were your secrets to getting so many members so fast? I think it is truly impressive.

I have been running forums for years so I'm used to building them up.

I didn't spend a penny (Or cent) on promotion though, almost all traffic is from word of mouth.

I have spent money on trying to make it unique and I have a lot more to come

I know I am going to be losing quite a bit maybe even up until the first 6 months but I have prepared for that.
