Now that 2006 is here and some of you may be entering your 2nd year in this great industry I thought I would make a post that gets back to the core of why we do what we do.
Many of you do this affiliate stuff as a hobby and some do it to make a living. Regardless however everyone needs to take a step back and answer some questions about their upcoming year. These questions are not nessacarily meant for you to respond to in this thread but more so to get you thinking about your personal life and where your at in business.
1. What are you most grateful for in your life? (excluding your family, children, etc)
2. What is your most important life accomplishment so far? (excluding your family, children, etc)
3. Are you satisfied?
4. Go back 5 years, what would you change?
5. What is the number one FUN/EXCITING thing you still want to do or be able to afford in your lifetime?
6. What do you personally want (or plan) to accomplish in 2006?
7. What are your top 3 professional goals in 2006 and what do you realistically want your W2 to look like in 12 months?
8. When do you plan on getting started on number 6?
9. What could, will, or might keep you from achieving your goals and dreams this year?
10. Will you accept failure or fight for achievement?
I pose these questions to show a point that only YOU can control your destiny. Everyone has great ideas and aspirations, but the people who will achieve the most success this year will be the implementers. It's amazing how many people have that "next million dollar idea" but never take the steps or the risk to implement and develop their idea.
Last year Alex Tew sat in the U.K. as a poor college student racking his brain on how to pay for his tuition. Twelve months later this kid is an internationally known millionaire because he ran with his crazy idea.
Just some food for thought.....
