Im planning to promote WPTonline to any visitor from outside the US.

I have a small script checking which country a users IP is from. If he is not from the US i'll show WPT banners. Anyone from the US will see banners from another poker site.

Are you using IncomeAccess for your affiliate solution?
I see its a .asp solution similar to UB's with all the tracking issues.

Could you post a sample affiliate link?

Thanks

Thanks pokermaster

looks like a incomeaccess link.

What have been your results so far? Everything looking OK or fishy?

I can't see why UB would have trouble & others not when using the same tracking solution? unless UB's problems really aren't an accidental glitch & have been left as is on purpose to pump up revenues?

Thanks again

Ive only the link on my site for 2 days, so its a bit too early to know. Ive had 1 registration though. The software that you use to check your stats, looks exactly the same as Paradise, and absolute. I am not an affiliate of UB so I don't know.

Yeah, Absolute for sure uses IA.
I've had the same miserable results with them so far as UB also.

I thought it was because of not offering rakeback for Absolute up to now, like most others. This is looking like at least part of the reason now though?

I run in Firefox-centric circles, so this is a biggy for me!

damn

Hi guys

Just want to clarify a few things here before I continue with more news about the WPT Online Affiliate Program.

First of all - yes, WPT Online, Absolute Poker and Paradise Poker's Affiliate Programs are all powered by Income Access software. Something needs to be made clear though - Mozilla/Firefox generates cookies differently than Internet Explorer, and it's the casino/poker room that needs to be designed to read these cookies properly, it's not an Income Access software issue. If the casino/poker room isn't setup to read cookies from alternate browsers, then Income Access won't receive alternate browser data from these casino/poker rooms.

Hope that cleared things up a little...
