I just dropped a couple hundred at adbrite sending out ads... it was about 3 - 4 days ago and my ads aren't out yet. Anyone used them before, they seem to be reputable enough.

P.S - For all poker affiliates, you can sell your advertising through their site with no setup fee. ---> http://www.adbrite.com/mb/commerce/purchas...d=70380&afsid=1 That is what it would look like, I think it's a great tool for affiliates.

I've bought advertising with Adbrite before. It's not as good a quality traffic as Google traffic, but it's not expensive either. I did see a real response to the advertising though.

If you're going to advertise with them, it might be a good idea to set up separate landing pages and affiliate URL's on those landing pages that you're not using elsewhere to track your ROI. Nothing like scientific testing to get a real grip on how the advertising is performing.

I just ran a few test ads, nothing bad to report. Nothing too spectacular either.

I have had AWESOME success with Adbright, you just have to be smart about about how you do it. If you know what your doing you can find some hot deals - sites with tons of quality traffic that are dirt cheap to advertise on. You really have to dig to find these sites tho... for every hot deal there are about 5 sites simply not worth advertising on. There are a few other tricks of the trade too. Advertise on sites on certain days they will have a spike in traffic For example, I advertised a non-gambling site on NHL.com on the first day of the NHL pre-season. I had to book it like two months in advance - but it cost me the exact same as any other day would... only it has 5-10X the normal traffic that day.
