Now that Paradise and Party have had BJ revenue for a while let's discuss our experiences.........

I have been doing pretty well at Party, although at Paradise I got one guy that is killing Blackjack........even funnier is that I think it could be one of you guys!!! He signed up right around the time of our last $30 tourney there. :P :P

Anyways, although he has made some money and decimated my poker mgr, I don't nessacarily think it is a really bad thing. Obviously whoever it is must be pretty happy with Paradise right now and this may help to keep him coming back and build some brand loyalty. Short term losses for longer term gains I suppose.

What has you guys experiences been with incorporating BJ into the mix at the rooms that allow this. In all honesty I think the Sportsbook revenue would be even juicier if we promoted it to our poker players. I wonder if creatives and banners for BJ or sportsbook would convert for these programs.

I've tried promoting sportsbook to my poker players off and on for over 2 years. You would think it would be a natural fit, but I have had little sucess. I recently added a sportbook topic section to my forum and have gotton a couple of conversions for the superbowl... $320 cpa for a minimum $20 depsosit. The sports book obviously make more per player than the average poker room does per poker player.

I suspect its more of a trust issue here in the us, but I don't know for sure.

I've got a guy that routinely drops 1K a month at Paradise via the sportsbook. His MGR averages maybe two or three hundred a month. I certainly can't complain....

As far as BJ goes, I haven't had a player yet that's really taken me for a ride.

I had someone who had won over 6k at blackjack, and according to Stephen at Paradise, the money had been withdrawn. But a few days later, this guy lost all the money again. So now I don't sweat it anymore.

I wouldn't give up the BJ earnings since it works out to over 50% of my total earnings from Paradise.

Blackjack at Party has really not had any effect on my pay. Since (I don't think) it is a straight percentage of the loss like Paradise, I think somebody would have to lose quite a bunch to see a difference in take home pay.

I do have one guy at Paradise that is a tournament player and it seems like anything he wins, he takes over to Blackjack and promptly dumps. Gotta admit, I would love to find out who he is and send him a monthly thank you. His play has a definite positive effect on my earnings.
