Did anyone else hear this? Looks like as a result of this, rakeback could end for empire entirely and therefore a lot of money would be lost...

I've been hearing rumors of this all day now, but I've found no definitive answer on it. Empire's page still looks the same, and also downloads "empiresetup.exe" I know when they bought intertops that the download became "partysetup.exe"

Stock seems to have jumped the past few days, and this was posted on the stock exchange:

Empire Online notes recent press speculation and confirms that it is in advanced discussions regarding settlement of the outstanding litigation claim with PartyGaming Plc and assignment of the Company’s related skin activities to PartyGaming Plc.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

Their settling their litigation. I seriously doubt that a purchase would be any part of that.

And now this makes the most sense. Empire just going away, just doing its Noble thing, putting the face on it of a settlement, that really the most logical thing to happen since Empire got Noble in September.

"If Empire had taken its claim to the US, it could have amounted to three times that sum. As well as substantial damages."

WHAT?
How could they have possibly sued in any US court?

Just received this
------------------------------------

Dear Affiliate,

Due to the recent changes with EmpirePoker, the banner and/or link on your
Site will be disabled shortly. Please replace the link with
http://banner.cdpoker.com/cgi-in/redir.cgi...00&profile=1537
and the banner with one of the CDpoker banners that are on
www.tradal.net --> banner gallery. This will enable you to automatically
begin promoting CDPoker.com, and your stats will transparently and
immediately be added to your affiliate account on Tradal.net, under the same
terms of your current deal.

Club Dice Casino is one of the largest online casinos on the internet, and
its sister brand, Club Dice Poker - www.CDpoker.com - is part of the
exciting and expanding iPoker Network, with thousands of online poker
players. Club Dice Poker has a shared wallet and a player can play
both Multiplayer Poker with thousands of players, and Casino Games like
BlackJack, Roulette, Craps, and more.

Please make sure you replace the banner and/or link as soon as possible as
per the above instructions, and confirm to us when it is complete.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but are convinced in our mutual future
success and are confident that CDPoker.com is an addition that will enable
you to maximize your traffic sources.

For more information, please contact your personal affiliate manager.

Thank you for your cooperation.

I really don't know CDPoker very well, never played there, never promoted the room heavily at all - anyone have some feedback on the poker room they care to share? How is the software, graphics, etc.
