Congressman goodlatte has introduced a bill that aims to ban ALL online gambling, this means, poker, bingo, sportsbetting, slots, whatever. If it's online, and its gambling, he'd like to make it disapear in the United States.

You will find a link to this bill HERE

I have written my own congressman, and let him know my thoughts on this.. and I encourage all of you to do the same... you can do that HERE

Actually it is rumored that a cable internet provider on the east coast has been testing its "gambling filter" recently.

Where'd you hear that from? This could never happen. "Sign up with us, we're the only internet provider to restrict all our paying customers from online gambling sites."

Whers my tinfoil hat? h34r:
It actually could be true though? look at the way all of major media cowered on gambling ads.

It'd last about as long as it'd take for customers to signup for a new ISP though. Their bottom line is the one thing they'll fear more than the feds!

I gotta little project that may help out on this. I'll see if I can get it up today?

cheers

why dont one guy running for office says he wants to Legalize poker!

We elect these jacksasses in the first place.

If poker was banned from cable internet connection, i'd just go back to dial-up, then even at worse i could call a access number in canada to log in.

Worse comes to worse, i'd just say F the USA and it's so called Freedom.
