Contest Sponsors Wanted & DonkeyLotto Progress

Today we began accepting advertising on the site. We are also looking for anyone who would like to give away tangible items or sponsor a contest. Tommorow the video ipod will probably close at 2500 clicks.

On the topic of DonkeyLotto I will keep you all posted as I promised. So far after exactly 1 week I am quite pleased with the progress. We are averaging around 3000 uniques a day and that should double in the next week as we just did a pretty big media buy. We have around 400 members now which I am also pleased with for only being up for 7 days.

The challenges we have been faced with thus far is getting the forums more active.........of course as we have all spoke about this topic before. Getting active forums is one of the most difficult tasks a new site can endure. But I feel this will happen gradually as the communities membership grows and matures.

The other challenge is that right now having 1 week between contests closing is too long and we risk losing interest. With that said this is why we are now accepting contest sponsors. Even if it i just a $50 gift card, bankroll, whatever..........it is something. When we gave away the $1000 last week, it was an awesome frenzy with over 50 people trying to be that lucky click. We NEED that frenzy and urgency every day with 100 times as many people.

Just to let you all know im very new to advertising through web sites and domains. I do very well on offline and word of mouth advertising. How ever i wanted to try it and i got a one page web site advertising Poker Heaven made up by POKERMASTER (Great Job) and paid for a month of advertising on Donkey Lotto i have had 3 sign ups already. I would get on board now, this is going to be fat. It has only been up 16 hrs lol,

Thanks for the testimonial Fatty. My suggesstion to anyone advertising on the homepage of DL would be to have an ad or a banner that screams "CLICK ME"

I am VERY pleased from the results of advertising on Donkeylotto.com. I purchased an ad spot yesterday and have already seen significant traffic with a limited number of members. Is that your site drunk donkeys? What is with the Active X crap? People dont usually like crap being auto-installed on their PCs if it is your site.
