Since I recently decided to go to CAP Spring Break and finally got my registration, I've decided that a detailed report on "A day in the life of an Affiliate Manager" would seem to go a long way for all of us.

I believe that as much as we all bitch and moan about delayed payments, stat problems, promotion problems, charge backs, promotional fees, the rakeback fiasco, fraud and more... that an indepth look into what exactly goes into running a successful affilate program would be of great importance especially to a community like ours.

This report will go into great detail of what an affiliate manager goes through on an average day, how they feel they could improve and what they feel is already working. I'll also get a detailed report on the best promotions, the best way they feel an affiliate can be successful and how far they will exactly go to benefit an affiliate.

I'll be speaking with many affiliate managers this weekend and will post an excerpt here and detail the article on my site once I get back. If any affiliate managers read this, please feel free to contact me in advance and we can setup a meeting.

If anyone has any questions that you really want me to ask an AM or ideas on how I can make this article great, please feel free to post them here.

Bryan

I would rather have my job all day long than that of an AM. Although it may seem sometimes that being a poker affiliate manager is a dream job, there are several headaches. Instead of dealing with just your own issues, these guys are dealing with hundreds of people's issues.

Great idea though Bryan. Let me know if you need anything from me. Likewise I will publish your report on our site when you get back.
