PokerRoom Play money restrictions

Me and Dan were talking about PokerRoom earlier and he said that PokerRoom has play money time restrictions where you can only play at certain times. And, you have to have deposited to play at the play money tables.

How has your guys revenues been at PR. Mine have sucked this period and I was just wondering if there is somehow, someway a correlation.

Overall I think this is a very crappy decision by PR.

Servers must be getting bogged down or something.

If this is the case it's a horrible business decision. Every single site I go to or anyone I know goes to, the tend to play a little while at the play money tables to atleast get a feel for the room, plus I've sent tons of players to rooms that initially play free money and then a few weeks later finally decide to hit the real money tables, so this does not seem to be very wise.

Hmm, are the really that worried about bandwidth? Or just don't want to give shots at converting non depositors.

Did you see this written somewhere? I don't recall ever reading this.

I have sent a lot of players there each month. This may explain the low conversion rate relative to other sites. If so, it would explain some things.
