I have been doing allot of off line marketing. I have some great stuff for you guy's


1. go to your local beer store-especily in college areas place business cards in all the beer cases!!!! lol bet you guys never thought of that huh?

2. The local bars put a flier in each shitter with 8-10 cards so they can take the code home. on top of each urinal 8-10 buisness cards. In 5 minutes friday night my brother saw 3 people looking at my cards back at thier table.

3.Wal-mart new decks of cards and a slew of hold-em stuff business cards in all of it.

4. This one is going over good but I am not sure how many others will sign up from it. If I know of a big tourney or my friends have a tourney I have a drawing for a free 50$ account but of all the people who register I give them a business card hoping the ones who don't win will go for signing.

5. A guy in my area has an e-mail list and is e-mailing home games. I am working on a deal to get my add there. I am waiting for him to get arrested though because him and a few others have started BIG clubs and they way to free about promoting them and admitting they take rake. So I am not sure how this will go? I plan on putting a flash banner on his e-mail and banners at thier games.

6. ATM'S tape on back of business card and plaster it to the machine

7.GAS PUMPS tape on back and stick them on the pump hint the cheapest gas station in town is the best people wait in line to get gas here!


Don't get real fancy with the buisness cards and fliers you put in the bathrooms at the college bars they usualy get thrown away and taken down. Keep them simple and cheap just hope a couple into the hands of players before they discover the ads.

I have been working on the online dating thing with minumal succes. I put allot of time in to talking with the guys and LEADING them on with little luck. I have my doubts as to some of the others who say they just put up a profile and never touch it again then get 80 rmp's in a month. I worked those dating services hard for 5 weeks and only got 3rmps and 4 play money players. Not worth the hours I put into it. The guy's are gung ho to make you think they are interested until it comes time to sign up then they have every excuse in the book why they can't do it. I have learned if they are willing to play they sign up right away if they don't or keep him hawing you around stop messing with them and move to the next guy. Use them just like a woman would and move on hahahhaha!

Now that is what I'm talking about. GREAT OFFLINE IDEAS. What's wonderful about all these ideas is anybody can do it. I actually thought about the gas pump idea. How about Drive-thrus? What about this one? Go early to a baseball game. You could drop 500 cards in an hour on the seats. Bet you never thought of that one. Boo-yah!

Couple of ideas ive been using and seeing some action...
I created a bold and colorful text document using microsoft word( and wordart), clean but clear...
all it says is
WANTED !<---bright green
POKER PLAYERS !< ----Red
MYWEBSITE.COM,<---bright blue

I set the page parameters to legal size and copied it so i get 4 on a sheet...this makes a nice readable size even from about 20 feet.
I printed on 110#cardstock and cut them into1/4 size at a kinkos for free.
Now i buy bulk rolls of scotch brand double sided wrapping tape at walmart, easy to dispense.
At at every possible opportunity while i am driving(stopped actually), i use the double sided tape and stick a mini flyer to anything i can reach out the window. The backs of signs , heck, the fronts of signs, lightpoles, road baracades, you get they idea...
sometimes i have to jump out quick, but i work the late shift, no one around on the way home.

Every $1, $5,$10,$20 etc U.S bill in my wallet.

Think about it...someone receives the bill, looks at it...Hmmm, that interesting, i will go see what that is about. Then what do they do? they pass it along for the next guy to look at. Non disposable business cards !

I get quite a few hits from across the country with referring page (per statcounter) from citys where i have NOT had any ads..has to be the bills !

OH BOY! That $$ stamping idea is AWESOME - heck tomorrow afternoon I'm going to take that a step further than you have - I'm going to go to my bank and withdraw a few hundred dollars in ones, stamp em take em to another bank and trade em in for 5's stamp em go to another bank trade em in for 10's........ When I get to 100's I might start over again depending on how long it took - thanks for the sweet idea!

Stamping of money= the best idea I have ever heard. You sir a (excuse my french) are a fucking genius!!!! I would kiss you If you here well ok no I wouldn't but you get the idea!

I actualy do put my fliers on drive thru order boards but I forgot to mention it in my post.

That was about my reaction when reading that as well As soon as office depot opens I am headed down there to buy my stamp kit (That I saw the other day when buying my printer) and get ready to STTAMP STAMP STAMP! The plan right now is to witdraw a couple hundred $$ from my bank account IN ONES - stamp em - trade em in for 100's - rinse and repeat. The idea is great, though I would be careful guys. Defacing Government property is illegal and you will no doubt get in a ton of trouble for it. I've written a phone number before on a bill but down and out advertising on Government money will get redflagged from the bank and you will definitely be contacted. Thats just my thoughts but go ahead at your own peril. Could you imagine if everyone started doing the same thing with various businesses, the bills would start to look like a bulletin board and hence why it is illegal.

Defacement of Currency

Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, DISFIGURES, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

Like I said, you can take your own chances, but I still don't like going in front of a judge that disagrees with poker and slaps you in the slammer for 6 months. YOU NEVER KNOW THE JUDGE COULD BE ON TILT!!!
