I had thought of the same idea except wearing them myself. I attend quite a few sporting events throughout the year, plus since I work at "The most magical place on Earth", my family and I visit here several times per year. Simply put a traffic madhouse! These shirts also might become the only shirts I wear!

Yeah, nothing like being a walking billboard.
Anyone remember the Police Academy movies, especially the one where they put sunscreen on the guys chest spelling out the word "dork"? I thought of this one based on all those people that are selling "advertising space" on their foreheads, breasts, etc. Ya just never know!

Wow there are some great idea popping up in this thread!! I think I'll leave it as a "Sticky" for quite a while. I suppose I should probably make a contribution also.
I love the idea of placing cards in all thee books at the book store......genius
Here's a promotion I did last year that worked well. As you guys know I also own PokerCareers.com. I placed an ad on two of the large job boards monster.com and hotjobs.com as well as in the local paper that said "Help Wanted - Poker Players"
I then essentially told folks that I was looking to bring on new players to Party Poker and that I would match their deposit up to $100. I also explained to people that I would coach them in becoming better players while they were getting started.
Oh yea and most importantly I had my Bonus Code listed in the ad on Monster. I got questions from folks every day and got some sign-ups as well just from having the Bonus Codes there.
Although keep in mind it did cost me a few $$ to run the ads.

Too funny that the bookstore idea got posted, I just started doing that myself this week. Also, try putting your cards in/near any poker related merchandise (chips, table tops, poker videos, etc)
I live in Myrtle Beach, SC so come summertime I have a huge market to cater to, and luckily most of the vacationers here are my target market. They are either golfers, or young adults who like to party, and both of these groups are huge poker players. To cater to the golf business I am in the process of working out a deal to have my bonus codes either placed on scorecoards (which are in every cart) or have a separate card placed in each cart.
As for the young crowd, a few of the bars around here have been receptive to letting my hang a nice looking card holder on the wall that you see right when coming out of the bathroom.
Another idea to market to the bar going crowd is to have your URL on coasters, beer mugs, pretty much anything seen over and over by people. Most bars are more than happy to let you buy their pint glasses for them, and it is really great advertising.

Glad you all liked the idea. It would be great if some of you posted your bookmark ideas here or PM'd me because I am kinda computer handicapped when it comes to design and it would help alot to see other's ideas.
Glad I could contribute something to you master affiliates. Now if I can only become one of you! B)

The Sub-Affiliate idea about bringing together a few buddies, having them sign up under you, then going out for a day and putting out fliers sounds like the best idea I ever heard for promoting sub-affiliates off-line. Most people will be turned off if you ask them to "sign under you". But, if you offer your buds pizza and beer afterwards it gives them a reward. You can tell them all day they will eventually make money promoting poker sites, but what they understand more than anything is instant gratification. It gives them something to look forward to at the end of the day. On top of that, if they look in their account a week later and find a couple signups, that will give them results/proof, that what they did wasn't just for pizza and beer, it offers potential. I love this idea so much. I also think that, if you can make some money, it's better to do it with your friends than without. Thanks for the idea. I think it's brilliant, yet so simple.
