Website updating, help me!!

Anyone know if there is a way to make certain sections of every page all alike? So if i cange something on one page it changes on every page?

I want to have the side bar section of my site the same on every page, my problem is that when i cange it i have to change it on every page.

Is there so program that can help do this? I dont want to use frams.

Use a CMS, or Content Management System.

Apparently it is pretty easy to do with PHP. I am having my site redesigned now and that was one of the things that I asked for. I will let you know how they end up doing it when I get it back. Also, you can try looking through the code of some of the popular sites with this. You should be able to figure it out that way.

A CMS --incorporated with includes, natch-- is your best bet. Try Coranto, at http://coranto.gweilo.org/

They take a little time to configure, especially if you want to do something really different with them--I once generated my entire forum header with it--but it's worth the effort in the long term.

This is really easy to do if you use a program like Dreamweaver. You just create a main template and then create all pages from that template, then when you want to change something it updates all pages that were created from that template.
