Joint Effort Press Release

Hey everybody,

Another great idea has been talked about in the underground and I'm here to announce just what we are planning on doing, and we need everybody's help on this one.

The basic thing that we would like to do is get as much exposure on Monday as possible. This is a hot topic right now and is going to create a HUGE buzz in the US, and all over the world. How are we going to do this?

1) PRWeb.com

A press release is currently being written (or has already been written depending on when you read this) and it will be professional in all means. It will be posted in this thread for affiliate criticism and correction. We are asking all affiliates to comment on it, add, subtract, and change any errors that are found.

We want to take the press release and have it be in the top 3 for PRWeb.com's news releases of the day. The current minimum contribution to be #1 is predicted to be between $400 and $600, which is nothing compared to what some of us are making. Now we don't expect everybody to donate a huge amount, but if just 20 of us do a $20 donation we can get it done. And seriously, tell me you can't do it when we all know that we've blown much more at the poker table.

I'm going to personally donate $50 once we get to the $100 mark. And if we come anywhere short of $200, hoursurf has offered to cover the difference up to $200. Come on guys, its time that we get together as the community that we are and get this done!

Just post your donation amount and go through NETeller email adioking@gmail.com. I'll make sure everything that is donated gets put up in order to get our article to the top.

Not only are we going to do a PR on PRWeb.com, I am going to release it to over 75 other press release websites that I know of and I can guarantee that it will be picked up.

2) Search Optimize for the term "poker ban"

We are going to be asking that all webmasters of this forum link to the PRWeb Press release using the anchor text "poker ban." If somebody has another suggestion for a key term to go for, please post it. I think we will get some major exposure to the article by doing this.

Also if somebody can think up some type of "solution" to this "problem" that would be very useful for the press release, please do so. People who are reading it don't want to just know about the problem, they want to know what they can do about it!

Well thats it for now. Please give any insight you can on this idea. The press release will be posted here as soon as it is done.

Great post!

The article is going to be everyones voices and opinions. It's not just an article that describes how the ban took place, the votes, etc. but our opinions and feelings about this bill.

I'm telling you right now this press release will be read by hundreds of thousands of people so now is the time to express your feelings.

If you dont think press releases are successful then this one will prove you wrong. I know of people that make six figures just writing press releases and I myself have much of that knowledge and will help get this release off the ground. The release will be heard and even if it doesnt change anything, you will have let the government know what we all feel as a whole.

The release isnt going to be used for any commercial gain for the writers or any company in particular. We will cite the better articles that have been written by the bigger companies.

Please post all your guys thoughts that you want in the article.

That's a great idea, and most generous of both of you. I think this is a very important thread and kudos to adioking and hoursurfer for keeping the ball rolling and new ideas coming in.

We all need to voice our opinions and support this issue because if we don't than who will? We are the ones directly affected by it. I am going to ponder my thoughts overnight and will be back to add something in the morning. I hope to see a 10 page thread by that point.

Sounds good. The article is about 4 paragraphs long so far. Please post things you feel are important or ideas you want in the article.... We want this to be not written solely by us but piece by piece from everyone.

Adioking just told me we got the $20 from loserscore. Keep the donations and more importantly thoughts coming.

So far 3 donations at $20 each (minus fees lol). This is going to be very good for us and remember that there is a minimum guaranteed donation of $200 between hoursurf and I.

We are also going to be listing donar URL's in the press release so if you have already donated, please list your URL. Hopefully this is okay with PRWeb. If it is not then we will not be mentioning websites, but we are hoping that it is.
