Default PokerStars - Add MGR and you will own the market

So PokerStars has now announced that they will remain in the US Market.

If PokerStars added an MGR option they could completely dominate the online market.

Personally, I think their software is great and plenty of action but I am not terribbly motivated to promote them on CPA because my players are high value players and quite frankly I would lose a lot of money on a one-time payment program with them.

PokerStars, if you are reading this thread. Add MGR and you will dominate the market. I could probably send upwards of 75k a month in traffic to your site if you added MGR as a payment option

just my two pesos, now that I live south of the border

One thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

If you send high volume players, you'll get compensated well for that because these cardrooms like money.

yea I would say get into contact with somebody higher up than the support contact and I am sure you can work something out. PokerStars administration has always catered to my needs and I couldn't be more satisfied with them.

Your point is well taken PPP . The main problem for me is that I would't be sending a lot of players per month (initially more, but probably only around 4-5 per month), but they would all be high quality players normally generating significantly more MGR than avg. I'm talking about players that multi-table 10-20 and higher, long term players, semi-pro's and professionals, so a lot of the normal or avg rules for player values, life expectancy on site, etc., don't apply.

On sites that pay MGR, these players are worth $500 a month or more. So even if I was to negotiate some ridiculous CPA of say $500, I would basically be only getting one months revenue. I will try the "negotiating" route, and see what they have to offer, but for these types of players I still prefer MGR.

If you are talking about a statical aberation, sending a very small number of players that are in the top 1% of quality, then CPA is more difficult to negotiate a fair rate, but this is also really not related at all to the original post. Offering MGR would do zero for them. 10,000 new players a month is what they need to think about, not three or four. Even if they are excellent, that is just a blip on the radar.

More to the point though, except for aberations where you might send a very small number of very high quality players, why in general would anyone want MGR at one of these US facing rooms these days?

Stars may make an extra $75k...well prbly 75% of 75K since they would have to pay you. Does the new money and income they make....does that overpower all the rake they would have to pay out?

I wish they would add rake but dont think its smart for them to.
