Default Selling a product using clickbank?

If anyone has any experience creating and selling a product through clickbank.com, I would love to hear it.

We are considering moving our poker dealing course over to clickbank instead of our own electronic payment system / affiliate program. We would really prefer to have it stay on our payment system, but the lure of a large number of affiliates promoting your product has to make us strongly consider it.

A few questions about clickbank:

What are your general experiences selling clickbank products? Good / Bad / there are better outlets to research?

Are you more comfortable promoting a clickbank product since it is virtually pain free to set up your link and you're 'already' an affiliate, you just need your link?

Do you even search through clickbank to find products to sell or do you focus on poker rooms?

Would you be more interested in becoming an affiliate for the Poker Dealing Course if we sold it through clickbank instead of through our own affiliate program (as currently).

How difficult it is to get listed in their marketplace and even if you get listed, how many affiliates 'pick up your product' to sell? (i know this is impossible to answer depending on how high your product ranks in the marketplace, but generally speaking if you put it in the right category / sub-category, do you see significant action.

oh - for comparison... we probably have around 25 affiliates currently somewhat active or with sales in the past 3 months. We pay $50 CPA and have a fairly low rate of return (less than 5%) even though our course is on the expensive side for an ebook (sells at $197).

I personally have very limited knowledge of affiliating through clickbank and no experience selling a product through them. As an affiliate I have only sold 1 thing ever using clickbank (not that we promote any of their products very much). It was actually that book by the old member Ex Croupier, for those of you around long enough to remember him. I don't believe we ever recieved payment from clickbank, but i could be wrong, it was a long time ago. Anyway, I do appreciate any feedback / experiences.
