Justin, we do not ecnourage or condone any affiliate to promote the option of opening a new account for an existing player in order to get rakeback. Please send us a link or the referral number if you have it and we will address it immediately.

Really?
I looked at your site...why do you make ppl uninstall some poker software and then dl it from your site and then install again?

This is straight from your site...
"1. Uninstall the software

Make sure you do not already have the software downloaded - if you do, you need to uninstall it:
(Start > Programs > Coral Eurobet Poker > Uninstall Coral Eurobet Poker)
"

That's the definition of a rogue right there.

I can also chime in here on the behalf of RTR and Karim. These guys are a quality bunch and I am sure with the highly competitive industry we are in there is much 'stepping on toes' when large affiliates collide.

best of luck Justin!

Because they dont want customers bitch@ng at them when they sign up and all of the sudden they don't get their rakeback. It's called taking care of problems before they arise.

But to tell somebody to UNINSTALL a software that they ALREADY HAVE is unethical. Rakeback affiliates should be steering players to NEW SITES, not sites they are ALREADY PLAYING AT.

I myself am upset about this after reading what was posted on RTR.

No, its called being a rogue, by definition. If players don't get rakeback its because they don't deserve it because they are already tracked somehow else by the cardroom.

Telling players to uninstall software is always attempted theft. Any affiliate that reccomends that should be reported to the cardroom in question with a demand that they be warned, and then have their affiliate accounts closed if they don't correct their inappropriate behavior.

This is a no brainer. It's wrong and can never be justified.

I can say this with a great deal of certainty from my few interactions with Karim. Karim is one of the good guys and trust me he is not coaching people to do this.

Once you get to the size that RaketheRake is the last thing you want to do is ruin your reputation. It is not uncommon for me to send a message to a number of rakeback affiliates when something like this happens and vise-versa.

That said, lets be real, the customers themselves push this agenda. They want the benefits or they want the referrals. Trust me when I say this to all of you, Rakeback affiliates police each other much more than any of you could ever dream to do. The biggest affiliates have the most to lose and would never condone something like this.

I don't think that will ever stop the conjecture though. The reality is every time you have a big player and that player leaves your trackers, if you don't give incentives, you are naturally going to assume they were poached. I know of no site that allows a player linked to an affiliate to be switched to a rakeback affiliate and there really is no need at this point to go to extreme lengths to get players. There are so many lying around at the moment it is incredible.

I do agree with PPP however, they and all rakeback affiliates should not have that on their sites, there is no question what that is intended to do. Obviously there are rare instances where a cookie may have been dropped but I think it is bad form and should not be condoned.
