The online poker industry itself hasn't shown much unity or organization during this whole ordeal.
It's a shame too, but based on all the current problems at every site, how would they have any time to worry about it.
Ultimate Bet - Payments delayed well over a month
Full Tilt Poker - Stats not updating for over a week
PokerAffiliate - Stats not right and no response from customer service
Mansion - Affiliate section was actually gone for a while and page wouldn't load.
And hell this is some major sites and this is only referencing the last few weeks.
I also have to admit that I firmly believe PokerStars and
Full Tilt will exit the U.S. market within the next 6 months and that there will be a downtime in the U.S. poker industry before regulation of "Vegas" online poker rooms.
I just can't see this industry surviving in it's current state. Yes, most poker players will continue to play. Some online and some will move off, but nonetheless... the issues with trust, accuracy and professionalism have shown this industry to be in disarray and also in jeopardy.
I hope I'm wrong in the long-run, but hope some major changes and regulation are implemented soon.
I'd love to get back into the industry, but not in it's current state.
