Yep, I was just about to post this Brandon. I can't believe how much this whole thing has turned into a modern-day Salem witch-hunt. I'm in absolute shock over this and cannot believe the steps being taken by the Dept of Justice to take down onling gaming companies. Just sickens me...

I don't really see why this would scare players.... U.S. Affiliate on the other hand, maybe.

This story has to do with investment banking in advising and bringing gaming companies public

It really doesnt effect affiliates or players.

It's obvious the DOJ is going for heads hoping to destroy the gaming industry from the top down.

Are you sure about this?

I could read into this article several different ways. It doesn't say affiliates are excluded now does it. Our biggest worry as pointed out earlier in this thread....is that affiliates could be targeted. This article just doesn't give you the information we all want to hear. That is what is troubling.

This is a big maybe....but still a maybe.

Being a little north of most of you, I may not be as worried as you...considering there is a border between us. But to say this does not bother me....well, lets just say if this disease spreads north (as I expect it will), I will be prepared (as much as one can be at this point).

This is a nightmare.

I have add one more thing.

The fact that Party is publicy traded is even more reason to be worried the DOJ will get their hands on the paperwork. You know what I mean. Your info as an affiliate.

Will they give the DOJ the info...who knows. Maybe you should be asking your AM. Or better yet a gaming lawyer.

PPP, I am curous as to your thoughts on this DOJ hunt for paperwork.

If they were actively going after Poker sites, wouldn't Doyle already be arrested? He visits the US quite often.

Just hopeful thinking on my part. Fact is, I'm somewhat worried.

the UK government has already came out calling this bullshit. There's a post about it on 2+2 with quotes from UK officials.

It looks like someone may step up and try to stop these crazy fcking lunatics.

The UK government made a comment about this starting to sour their relationship with the US.

Remember, Toney Blair was about the only m'fcker who stood by Dubya during the invasion of Iraq. Looks like our only friend has had enough.
