Question Promoting Bodog

I will most likely be promoting bodog poker as one of my #1 poker rooms, but first I wanted to get some feedback from affiliates already doing so.

I am just curious about sign up/conversion rates for bodog. For some reason I feel like they are so well known throughout the industry from all their advertisements in different medias that it will be somewhat difficult to find new sign ups/conversions.

I want to make sure I am not going to be promoting bodog with the same amount of success as pokerstars, where I rarely acquire new sign ups, since it seems like just about everyone who has every played poker and owns a computer already has a pokerstars account.

Any thoughts from other bodog affiliates on this?

My sign ups at Bodog are less than other rooms I promote but my value per player is much higher. This is one site I'm glad I passed on a high CPA deal and took MGR.

I think Bodog works very well for a few reasons. On sites where people already have accounts with Stars/Party, a lot of them don't with Bodog. Cash game players also love playing at Bodog because of the amount of fish they have.

Im only on them with CPA, but I know people who ar eon MGR and they love it since players usually also end up in the sportsbook or casino. I dont think there is a site whose branding and image is as good as Bodog's in all 3 sectors.

For conversions, theyve always converted very well for me. I dont send them more than 5-10 players per month, but my conversion rate with them is around 50-60%

If you push Bodog hard I think they are great. I was averaging 8-15 RMP a month from Nov-Jan

They are esay to convert with only a $20 deposit and my AM there is one of the best in the business.

Bodog is a great site if you push them. less affiliates advertise them so it's worth it.

Thanks for the input.

I know players that love and hate bodog so I had to ask. The players that love it are friends on mine and since signing up at bodog they are on it everyday in all 3 betting areas, and haven't even considered another poker room.

My AM is also great, and that is a huge plus.

Looks like I will for sure be pushing bodog

I promote it as well under an mgr plan. I don't get many new deposits a month there, but the ones who do generate a good amount of revenue. I also get players to bet on sports and most of them blow a bunch of money at the casino too. I played there before and the action is pretty juicy. Seems like everyone at the cash tables are talking about sport betting too.

They seriously need to update their graphics/software to contend with pokerstars!

This happens often enough with them. If you want to be an affiliate just keep following up with them till you get a response. If they decline you but your persistent about following up you'll likely get approved.
