Default Should sites help players get their money back from Neteller.

>>>this was a repost from another forum

IMO any site taking Neteller funds has an active interest in US players getting their money back. Any site that takes US players should not take any Neteller money until everyone is paid.

Otherwise you are aiding the liars and the criminals. I realize this is strong language. Many of you don't know me but I am a strong advocate for online poker. I often try and give the persective of the sites that is often unseen by the customer.

Well its time for them to have our backs.

The question is would any of you support a site for taking Neteller off of their site? Obviously once everyone is paid they would be back in good graces.

This is not the time for patience, this is a time for action. We need to help our fellow man.

I myself got most of my money off of Neteller. I have about 6k on still. That is relatively small amount of money for me. I will happily donate it to charity to show no bias for what I am saying.

Thoughts?

I think this is a great idea. I didn't have any money in neteller, but it really sucks for anyone who did. I'd definitely support this movement.

It's crazy talk like this and elsewhere that show why online poker players will never be able to organize effective opposition to anything like this. Blaming Neteller because a law has been changed is just plain dumb.

This is the time for patience. The time for action was two years ago.

When did they put a gun to your head and force you to do business with them?

Neteller had a plan, but it was abruptly interrupted by two arrests and ten million dollars worth of bail. It is a surprise, and if you want to insist on saying why aren't they prepared, why aren't you? Were you unconscious the last four months?

Neteller has long been a great ally and this finger pointing is embarrassing.

I think that they have to pay people! they have to by law, don't forget this is a UK company only 20 miles or so from the UK mainland, also If they try it on they will loose the rest of the worlds market. There are payment processors that have never allowed people on the USA so there must be business there. They must have insurance or some kind of back up otherwise they would not be in business at all. My best guess is that they are just trying to wait till the best payment option becomes available to them at a decent price so they can pay all you folks back. If anyone has ever had a check payment from neteller before a huge massive check arrives in the mail. like twice the size of a normal check, its a bankers draft essentially, and it has a huge neteller logo on it. I'm sure this is required by law they can't just send you a personal check.
