I received January's commissions a few days ago without any problems, but I sent in an e-mail to my AM to ask what was going on with paper check payments. Here is what I received:

I have sent the details to the accounts team, but what I understand from the present situation is that you would not be able to encash that check in the US. All the cash out options for the US have been closed, thus, if you wish to get the money the only alternative would be to open a new bank account in another country or to send it to someone you know outside of the US.

Why would I have any issues cashing the check? I've always deposited international checks without issue. What is everyone else doing with them? This really is amazing how difficult it's getting to see our funds.

I requested a payment from them on the 2nd , via wire and still have not received it to my bank account

I requested a wire on monday, and have yet to recieve the funds into my account... It should happen either today or tomorrow.....

My Wire Just hit the bank Today , Took 13 Days , i requested it on the 2nd , just Happy to get paid

I did a test wire transfer of $100. It hit my account today. Took about 10 days. The name on the bank was Wachovia Intl.

I received a check but my bank denied the deposit, saying it wasn't a valid US check, any ideas?
