Hosting Alert - Blue Host

I just paid a year at blue hosting to transfer one of my domains and here is the chat from transferring the domain... Heres a heads up..

Scott: no linking advertising or promoting
Scott: sure what is your domain name

Scott: and the last 4 digits of the credit card
Scott: okay
James Bragg: There are gambling related sites here
James Bragg: ****
Scott: well if we find them they are gone
Scott: and we just hired a person and that is all they do
James Bragg: so the money will be sent back to my card ?

Can anyone give me the best place to get hosting without these problems?

Thats fast work for a hosting provider - wish they were that fast when we wanted them to be. Just checked my online bank account and the money is already back on as well.. wow thats fast! They must have received some type of warning or something cause they didnt waste anytime getting this done.

Look into MojoHost.com I've been with them for over 5 years, and have never had an issue... and they certainly know what type of sites I run! LOL

Yep this is true. I just confirmed it on the bluehost forum http://www.bluehostforum.com/showthread.php?t=5522 . "Gambling sites are not allowed on bluehost servers, even if it's not spam"

I just talked to someone at host gator and they told me my sites should be fine hosted there.

I still dont get why anyone would host an affiliate site with a USA based hosting company.

This is odd. I wonder when it will take effect?

Guess we should start listing offshore hosts that are good - that are reasonably priced, provide all services and have good customer service and take all methods of payments.

Any suggestions?
