This is not something I can just put a price on in a whim, but I'll give some thoughts.
I had run multiple businesses in the past, and at one point I lost everything due to not choosing the right partners. When I started poker affiliating a couple years ago, I had to use my cc to buy my first poker domain.
I never invested a single penny into hustlecards.com, my first poker site, which grew into a decent moneymaker. I registered 5 domains that day and developed all of them. Over a year later I have sold them all and moved on to bigger and better things.
That had been the story of my online career, support the lifestyle while investing not money but blood and sweat into the business. I mean, I started teaching myself how to make money online when my friend got a cheque in the mail when we were 16 - I was broke then so I had no other choice but to teach myself the free way. And although know I am big on advertising and spending money to expand the empire, that hard work ethic will always be in me - because back then it was either that or Mcdonalds. So firstly, I would have to consider the sacrifices I have made and the work I had put in over time.
I think the biggest thing for me is I am always looking 6 months, 1 year, 5 years down the road and doing things today that will effect me then. I can attribute lots of the business sense I have now to working with Jeremy on various projects, who is wise beyond his years. When he gives business advice it seldom falls on deaf ears.
The point I am trying to get to here is I am creating an empire that will be just that - an empire. The value of everything in my portfolio is not worth nearly as much as my breaking point would be, because I am setting myself now for a few years down the road.
God knows if I sold everything I had for a few hundred thousand I'd buy a ferrari and a condo, and be dead broke in a month. I can't have that, so the empire needs to stay. As the saying goes "Rome wasn't built in one day".
