Thumbs down Warning reguarding PKR Rakeback

Ok so I dont know much about rakeback but ive got this on my site 50% BONUS up to $250 PKR OPTION 1 / $25 fixed BONUS & 10% RAKEBACK PKR OPTION 2 / 30% RAKEBACK PKR OPTION 3 Now as my commission is set at 30% I can make nothing from option 3. Rakeback is taken after 30% commission is calculated. so if the player spends $10 in rake I get $3 in commission less $3 then players receives in rake which = 0 no matter how much he plays. So that is just a waste of a sign up for me. Not only that PKR have decided upon themselves to offer the same player a $25 fixed bonus on top of that so In the long run it will cost me $25 for sending a player to PKR.

Read what you said. Rakeback is calculated after the 30 % comm.

Player generates $100 in rake -$30 comm = 70

.3 x 70 = 21

If your statement rakeback is calculated after the the 30% comm is true, then you would earn $30 from the above example and the player would earn $21 in rakeback. Which is obv 21% and not 30%

edmc explained it wrong but he is right. If you have 30% commissions and offer 30% rakeback you have nothing.

The solution is simple, do not offer 30% rakeback. You can offer 20% and get 10% commissions...

Thanks, that what I was thinking. It just seems a really odd offer give affiliates. Giving a player 30% rakeback then withdrawing the full 100% of your fees

Maybe you can make more commissions when you have large revenue if your commissions structure is ascending.

BTW, I'm sending you PM regarding link exchange.

I believe their affiliate % is based on a sliding scale, so if you are making over X$ per month, you get a higher percentage. If your percentage is 30% and you don't want to take any risk, don't offer 30%.

As for the bonuses on rakeback players causing revenue to go negative.... I have spoken to Margaret about this and she told me that they are aware of this error and will be fixing it mid April. At this time they will be making back payments on all lost revenue as a result of a bonus to a rakeback player. This is what she told me, but it may be best to come directly from her.

Thanks graham. I like the site for the occasional game from a player perspective but I couldnt play there if I was in one of my poker moods. I have a site for PKR but its just lightly promoting due to my own personal views on the site so I dont see moving up the commission ladder as a viable option. yeah I think my commission went backwards but its no major concern with the numbers I have brought in.
