Hey guys,

Just an FYI for those of you who promote the free $25 offer on Party Poker via a Bonus Code.

When a new player goes to Party Poker, a popup screen comes up that says they can get a 10% deposit bonus (up to $50) by entering some Party Poker provided Bonus Code.

Therefore if you get a new player to go sign up at Party Poker via your Bonus Code. They will always use your code if you are using the 20% initial signup bonus. As the bonus they intended to receive from your code is better than that being offered by Party on the initial popup.

If the new player intends on signingup via your free $25 bonus offer and they then see this code being offered by Party Poker, it is pretty safe to say that they will still use your code if they are planning on depositing less than $250 but if they are planning on depositing more than $250 they will now not use your bonus code and use the one being provided by Party Poker. As a result if you are refering a real good player to Party Poker there is an excellent chance that you will not get credit for them as they will use the Party Poker Bonus Code before they ever get a chance to enter your code.

For this reason, I always promote the 20% deposit bonus and never the Free $25 during my offline marketing.

Cheers!!!

Roy

Wait a minute - I just went to the site and I don't see this offer anywhere.

Even the "Mike Sexton" popup does not give a bonus offer.

Can you please describe how you got this to happen? Thanks

You are right, they must have just changed the Pop-up Screen. I just tried it and got Mike Sexton's picture as well as the freeroll info. Therefore that is cool. Sorry to create any confusion but I can assure you the popup used to have a bonus code to get a 10% deposit bonus, I would see it every time I checked my stats.

Cheers!!

Party has several landing pages. Some with a % pop-up, some with a $25 popup, and even some without. Ask your affiliate manager for the right one for you.

What about the standard "partypoker.com" page?

You still get credit no matter which bonus they take.
