Default Article Submission

When submitting articles to directories should I be using

Ones that are on my site?

Ones that I have yet to publish anywhere else so to avoid duplicate content?

Ones on my site except re write w few paragraphs so it is not directly the same thing?

Thanks

There is a bunch of them but the problem is that they not guarantee to post your article.

I allow people to do it on my site but anything overly spammy I will remove. I would like the blog or article to be unique and not just a banner farm. Here is one I posted for someone.

http://www.alwaysbluff.com/articles/...nline_slots_55. It was right on the borderline really but I wanted people to know that was available to them.

I'd recommend using original articles, that aren't featured on your site, to avoid duplicate content. Usually those articles are spread across the web all over the place, so even though you may only submit the article to one source, it could lead to tons of pages across the web that feature duplicate content with the page on your site where you took the article from, if you don't write new articles.

You can cover the same general topic as an article from your site, but I'd try taking a different spin on it and writing something fresh for article directories.

good point indie, once you submit an article to a bunch of directories it could take off, and all of the websites that pick up your article could end up ranking higher in the serps than your site that has the original article.

Do you need to submit a new article to each directory, or 1 article to multiple. Of course I am going to add more than one just curious if each is to be unique.

Thanks

I would assume that either way is good, but the more unique articles the better. I guess the only way to be sure that your not wasting your time is to write articles and content until your blue in the face!

Don't use an article you're planning to use on your site in an article directory.

Don't submit crappy articles to article directories just to get cheap links.

Don't bother with most article directories. Stick with the larger ones that might actually get you and your website some exposure.

It's best if you write the article for your site and if you want to republish it then to a re-write of it so that it is more than 60% non duplicate.

Once you have re-written it, submit it to the likes of ezinearticles, goarticles, articlesbase, etc.
