Default Help Legalize Online Poker, Help Elect Ron Paul in 2008

I was hoping to spread the Ron Paul word to everyone interested in maintaining the freedom to play online poker in the USA.

Ron Paul is the only candidate running for office that openly supports the legalization of online gambling.

We put together a quick one page site where poker players could go to hear what Ron Paul has to say about the freedom to do what you want with your own money. Ron Paul will Legalize Online Poker

The site is www.pokerplayers4ronpaul.com

Please consider reading through this page and watching the youtube videos. If you like what you hear, please please consider linking to the page. There are no banners, advertisements or links to poker content from anywhere on this site. This page is to help spread the Ron Paul message to those willing to listen to it.

Thank you,

Ron Paul is just about the only Republican I've ever heard who made any sense at all when he spoke. A pity his chances of getting elected are almost nonexistent. God bless him though.

Is Ron Paul running on the Libertarian ticket or Republican? Wasn't or isn't he a Libertarian?

Fred Thompson is a huntin', fishin' good 'ol boy.

Haven't heard his position on poker, can't imagine he'd be against it though?
Would really piss off his good 'ol boy support base?

He's got a chance & he's a rebel of sorts.

yeah, he ran as a libertarian many years ago, but has been a Republican Congressman for Texas for many years.

oh, and hey as him having no shot to winning, the Vegas oddsmakers disagree, he's only 6:1 to win the Presidency at sportsbook.com exotics lines right now... and that's to win the whole thing, not just the republican nomination.

He has a chance, a real chance the more people who hear the message. Get on board guys if you like what you hear!

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

Single issue voters scare me, please don't tell me you're gonna vote for a guy because he's the sole (vocal) supporter of online poker

I'm actually a huge Ron Paul supporter and would love to see him as our next president. That said, I'd happily lay six to one that he doesn't win the presidency. I'll have to check into those odds.....

talk about a win-win situation - that's one bet I wouldn't mind losing.

not at all GP... this is just one issue that I assumed most all poker affiliates and players might be interested in.

Here is where Ron Paul stands on the major issues: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/

If you guys like what you hear, spread the word!

Ron Paul is known as "Dr. No" in the legislature because he votes no to just about all legislation that comes up for a vote. He's a strict constitutionalist who honestly believes in limiting the role of the federal government. Philosophically he's more of a Libertarian than a Republican. I think the Republican party would secretly (maybe not so secretly) disown him. I admire his principles but disagree with him on some of his actually positions.
