Well I hate to say this but I am definitely not going to stand for this. I know idle threats aren't going to do anything so I will be looking at replacing them. I think I will keep their page up but there will be no mention of them from my front page or any other portal page.

I guess this means you won't be addressing the issues with Rakebackpros.com mentioned earlier in this thread?

As Full Tilt Poker grows our legal department has pressured us to clean up our terms and conditions. One of the definitions listed in our agreement from the beginning of the program was that real money players are defined as persons who make the minimum requirement within 60 days of opening an account. We have never enforced this rule before because we lacked the technology to do so, until now.

Full Tilt Poker converts players at a higher and faster rate than the industry standard, which helps you to turn new players into real money depositors more easily than the majority of rooms out there. Although you might be losing a small portion of players that will deposit after the first 60 days, the benefits of working with us should outweigh that. If you still feel the loss of the players will be too great, please email me directly at nell@fulltiltpoker.com and we can discuss ways of increasing your signups and conversion rates.

Nell

Wow, I am totally shocked that full tilt is taking a stand on this. They are at the top of their game and rocking the boat doesn’t seem like a good way to go. Plus upsetting nearly every affiliate in the industry. mmm Don’t sound like the business model (policy) I would want to start now.

If all affiliates at PAP dropped Full tilt today and promoted say Poker Stars " FTP sign ups would go down". This is basic math. So to think they cant see this is crazy.

Plus we bust our ass everyday, to give our readers the best value for their time and this may take month or even years before this hard work pays off. Then to after all this hard work lose that player.

Then after we have maybe spent years building their brand they repay us by slapping us in the face with a policy that was supposed to be enforced from day one and say all this work you have done is for nothing. Absolutly amazing!

I have sign ups all the time that don’t dep until 90-180 days or even later. Then this player becomes true value because they feel comfortable and trusting of the site and the information they received from the aff site.

Is this just FTP PR Talk "we want money"? I just don’t get it!

I am having serious issues with this Full Tilt Policy and I know all of you are.

I could go on and on about this but, I don’t feel like getting all worked up about this today and tossing my computer out the window. So to save from having to buy a new dell xps I am going to log out now.

What I don't understand is that Full Tilt has always been known to promote the idea of "Learn before you play...play within your means"...even the commercials portray that.

Now, they are basically MAKING affiliates try to push players to deposit and play for REAL MONEY right away...what happens when they LOSE and are turned off of FT forever?

BAD...BAD DECISION FT - bad message - bad business - bad relations - BAD - BAD - BAD!!

Full Tilt please stop insulting our intelligence and give us a real answer.

"This won't hurt affiliates"

"Pressure from the legal department"

"Didn't have the technology until now"

Thanks guys!

"This won't hurt affiliates" - Hmmmm we all can see its 15-25%

"Pressure from the legal department" - Yeah right....pull the other one

"Didn't have the technology until now" - yea a sign up date / time filter is real high tech stuff !

FTP says - 'We do not have technology to determine if 60 days between two dates'
FTP means - 'Thank you for making FTP a big site , now f*** off we don't need affiliates any more.'

Together, affiliates have much power over google. If we all got together we could googlebomb poker stars to number 1 for 'online poker'. Want to try? Or will FTP be right that affiliates will never get together so easy to f*** them.

Calm yourself Mr. Two Posts.

If you want to "get back" at one cardroom, then promote another, but advocating spamming helps nobody, least of all affiliates.
