I have to say, while I was getting excited about the WSOP I was a bit on the fence about the time commitment. Not so much now, it seems the buzz about this will be big and I don't think I am going to want to miss the fun.

3 or 4 months seems like way too big of a gap, why is the delay so long? I was thinking 1 or 2 months at max, but 3 or 4 sounds like a little too much. I'm thinking the hype will subside during this period until it nears November.

I'm not a big fan of the whole blinded off rule for players that can't make it. You're just going to have players playing cautiously, waiting for the guy to get blinded out.

I was thinking that as well, but I think everyone would show up anyways. If there going to play in the tournament there going to make sure they don't have anything booked for the Final table. Unless its a health or family issue I'm sure they will be there.

I also think the gap is too large. I was thinking a month wait would be good.
