I'm just curious, and ignorant when it comes to rakeback personally. But .. let's just say Stars chose 1 favorite. Their favorite affiliate. So they give him this great deal...

Rakeback = OK! % = 95! + Use of the company jet, and free conceirge... whatever.

If some guy has this GREAT contract.. are they breaking a rule? Are they not allowed to deviate in anyway or make personal contracts?

I'm curious mostly.. before a witch hunt were to start, if there are actually any rules against witches.

Sorry for the delay in response guys. I really didn't mean to start anything. Stars is my favourite room and I didn't intend to put their name through the mud. To answer Prop's question, I just wanted a clarification to the fact that this guy was full of crap. I had never heard of Party rakeback under the table, and really just wanted people to go....yeah that guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I was ignorant to underground deals before and didn't want to be again.

I'm not putting a slur on the industry or any specific room, I just thought it was an interersting topic to be discussed as affiliates. That is why I wouldn't post this on a poker forum. I thought this was a good place to ask something like this.

Sorry for spreading conspiracy theories. I simply said that it was some guy at the casino.

I haven't taken anything personally, I just hoped this could have been discussed at an affiliate level rather than a player/emotional point of view.

Cheers guys,

Nick

If there was a PM sent, give me the user name so I can personally follow up with Stars on this affiliate.
Yeah there were 2 PM's sent and already discussed with a moderator. I will happily provide you the PM's. I'm not into public scrutiny/humiliation.

For further clarification, mjmurphy was pretty much spot on with what happened. Except for the super user part. Based on my live game experience I came on here and asked if it was possible, then I received the PM.

Rakeback is absolutely not allowed at PokerStars and in no way would we work with an affiliate who provided this. Affiliates who are on revenue share receive no individual tracker information, and nor will we confirm that a particular player is signed up to the affiliate.

PokerStars never has, and never will work with affiliates who claim to
provide rakeback to players, and nor will affiliates have the means to do so.

Any PokerStars affiliate founds to be offering rakeback would be in
violation of our terms and subject to termination.

A bit harsh. Killing, or Terminating Affiliates, as you put it for breaching terms, should be clearly defined in the TOS. I consider that a predatory term.

Also, can I get rakeback at pokerstars? I couldnt find it on the website.

I believe when you signed up for stars you had to agree to their T&C's via an email provided to you. (T&C's should be on the affiliate page) Just like all rooms, each of them say they can terminate your account for breaching them.

Surely you can't be serious.
