Default Help Needed on Affiliate Programs

Hey Everyone I'm really looking for some feedback.

I'm new to the affiliate Industry and am having quite a hard time finding exactly what I need on Affiliate Program sites. Banners, Tracking codes, Text Links, html, etc. Obviously If I play around for a bit I find what I need. I just find it very time consuming and I'm wasting to much time looking for information that should be jumping out at me, and easy to find.

I wish I could log in to the Affiliate section, Find the banner I want and go.

Which Affiliate programs currently have an easy to use site?
Do any Affiliate programs have special or unique features that others don't? That Make a novice like me understand?

I'm also finding that my stats are hard to find, and not updated on a regular basis, which leaves me to some what question Promoting them. Shouldn't stats be up to the minute? or is it normal for them to take days upon days to be updated?

We as Affiliates really shouldn't need to look hard for this information.

I'm sorry for the rant, I just needed to get this off my chest. Hopefully some more veteran Affiliates can lead me in the right direction and recommend easy to use programs.

Thanks for listening

Any feedback on this topic would be great.

I have found that most affiliate program backends are pretty easy to use. I'm not sure if I'm just used to the industry or what but most programs have different sections for:

- banners
- tracking links
- stats
- etc.

I know Full Tilt and Cake poker make it very easy to grab banners or promotional items you may need.

With us at Sunpoker.com, you just log into your account, visit the section entitled Sunpoker.com, and grab any banners or text links you need. Stats are also very easy to find.

Kind Regards,

Mark

I find most are easy but all are a little diferent and some require steps like setting up a bonus code before you can get a traking link.
Stats on most programs are updated daily.
Maybe you are just using some complicated affiliate programs cause there are some out there. But with a good Affiliate Manager they should be able to help you learn with a simple email

I think the PAW site specifically has given him these impressions.

I agree it would be a bit confusing to a starter...since the banners and info is in a very different area - not in the backend.

Try Full Tilt Poker or Party Poker directly and you will feel more comfy.

I think too many programs try and become too technical/fancy and forget that the ultimate goal is provide Affiliates with the tools they need to have the most success.

If an Affiliate needs to ask the AM about how to find the most basic tools, I think you run the risk of losing the Affiliate. Obviously Affiliates will have questions, but finding banners, stats, codes should be automatic.

Thanks for your input everyone. I think maybe it is because I am new, and not use to how everything works yet.

Maybe this can be a lesson for some of the online sites as well that, not everyone viewing your Affiliate section is a seasoned pro. Not yet at least .

Thanks for everyones input I will check out other sites. I have been mainly using some of the European sites hoping that my players don't have any accounts there yet. Is this the wrong approach to take?
