Wordpress to Html Help

Anyone have any experience switching from wordpress to html ? My main concern is the urls. How can I be sure that Google will not get the urls mixed up? Anyone have any experience with this?

Example: My current site's urls are set up like xyz.com/poker/strategy/ and the new url will be xyz.com/poker/strategy/ only with the new url it will have an index.html in the directory, and the old url did not have that ( I am guessing it had an index.php, only I am confused as when I navigate to a url and add index.php at the end I get a 404 error.

If the urls are both xyz.com/poker/strategy/ I don't think you need to redirect, it should be the same thing to Google.

Why do you want the .html in there???

I don't, it just is since it's in html. Each folder will have an index.html but the url won't be displayed as such

Right, since both URLs will be xyz.com/poker/strategy/ in Google, it shouldn't matter. If a user clicks a link in Google that is xyz.com/poker/strategy/ they'll still end up at the index page of that subfolder, regardless if it's index.php or index.html. (as far as I know)
