Default Rakeback Site dedicated to a single poker room

I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on rakeback sites dedicated to just a single poker room. I picked up the domain CarbonPokerRakeBack.com and was wondering if it was worth developing into a site and if these type sites do very well.

Yes they can do well, but it's not as easy as many think. Your market is basically people that are interested in playing at Carbon Poker, know about rakeback, but can't get rakeback via their current rakeback provider(as most people will stick with the same provider). Won't be a ton of people that fall into that category, but conversions will be a lot higher

Only cardrooms with their head up their butts allow affiliates to have domains like this. I don't know carbon's policy, but since less and less tolerate it, I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped allowing it (if they allow it now) at some point and then you'd be crap out of luck.

I looked in the T&C before responding just to check that, and didn't see anything about that so didn't mention it but PPP is right - even if they allow it today, they could make you remove it tomorrow, so it's something you have to be wary of. Be sure to check with Carbon beforehand, and even then go with the assumption that there's at least a 25% chance they'll change their mind down the road.

Nice way of putting it there PPP

Even if its not in their T&C's doesnt mean its tolerated. I know Cake allows affiliates to have cake poker bonus domaind but does not allow cake poker rakeback domains. Shenaz said to me its because they dont want the players to think that the rakeback is from Cake or something along those lines.

Why allow one and not the other is beyond me but check with your am to make sure first.

It's especially funny from Cake because they do actually pay the rakeback. I could understand it from sites that don't have a poker room paid rakeback program, but for somewhere like Cake, I just don't get it.

I generally think these will only attract the lowest volume players.

I've got CarbonRakeback and FullTilt-Rakeback.net if someone wants to prove me wrong though, probably a few others.
