I'm reading an ad offering links in the same theme and this brings a grin to my face as I think of all the poker sites who are stuck in this mindset. Joe, a poker webmaster, wants some theme related links so he pays this guy a bunch of money for "gambling" links meaning not only poker but casinos, sports betting, bingo, tiddly winks betting, and so on. He's happy because these sites are all of the same "theme." He thinks that search engines must be all human edited to make this connection and thinks that a bingo site is more related to his than the viagra pushers. 'Scuse me. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Another funny one is that Joe thinks his site has a poker theme. Why is this one funny? Well again he thinks that this stuff is all human edited and there's even such a thing as a "site" really, rather than a domain with various web pages on it. Each page may or may not have a theme and his site may indeed have a common theme but then again why would it or should it for that matter? So he hesitates to link to "sites" with different "themes," although he has no problem getting links from directories and might even pay for the privilege. What theme are they anyway? Monty Python would have fun with this stuff
