He has tattooed "Ladbrokes" on his ass and exposed it in a live tournament.

They say no such thing as bad publicity, but tattooing yourself on your but without getting a wax?

What are your thoughts? Will Ladbrokes get signups from conversions looking at his but? Will he get banned from casinos for exposing his poker ad?

I don't think that tattooing your company logo on someone's ass is a good branding technique, but I guess that strategy worked pretty well for Golden Palace for a while. It doesn't do much for the credibility of the industry though.

You know, I've found that a lot of these so-called truisms aren't necessarily true at all. I don't for a minute believe that any publicity is better than none.
