Who supports the XML "thingy"

hello guys,

i tried to search this issue but rly didnt find it at all so i come here again!

so i heared it is possible to somehow "synchronize" the rake of the player to a webpage so the players get liveupdates of their stats!
i think i heared something like "XML" something! so first thing would be what is it exactly!
and the second one i would like to know which networks/rooms do support this XML thingy!
and how do i get this informations from their rooms, is it like emailing them "yeah i want the xml thing" or more like a feature in the affiliate panel?!

for example i know ongame supporting it and uget it via admin panel

email affil support @ the big players [ftp, cereus, stars, titan, etc etc] and ask them if they do xml feeds for affils wishing to offer realtime or daily stats to their players ...

90% of em will help u out if they want your business fwiw. IIRC u can get em from AP/UB [don't forget they are crooks though], and some boss media skins too..

XML is eXtensible Markup Language (small wiki lookup). It basically stores data along with it's meta (description of the data) in a tree form.

Some poker rooms and casinos store their information in such form, in order for the data to be accessible for their affiliate's applications. It is probable you'd have to set up your own application that aggregates the data from the XML sheet, unless you are a medium sized+ affiliate and then you're likely to get the tech support as well.

Like being said here, try to contact your account manager and inquire further into this.

I know that .xml is the program used to set up rss feeds. If I add a new post to my blog, I am also adding to my xml rss feed automatically.
At the same time, it adds the post to Feedburner (a free service, owned by Google) and also to my widget/blidgets.
That's probably more info that u wanted
So, if you subscribe to their feed and get the url from them (ending in .xml), you can set it at your site and it will auto update with new stats.
