I heard that having more than 100 inbound links on a page is detremental as spiders can't cope with more than a certain amount. I can understand that It may not be too good in terms of giving away PR from your highest ranked page to other less important pages, but Im not too sure about the spider thing. Also Im curious about duplicate inbound links on a page? does that count? and more importantly, does all this really matter anymore? I'm talking about specifically my home page, where 100 inbound links doesn't seem too many anymore.

Links to your page are called inbound links.
Links from your page are outbound links. The search engines reccommend against more than 100 outbound links on a page, but you don't die if you have more than 100. Duplicate links are never good from a search engine perspective, even if they may help users sometimes. |

I take ll this seo stuff far too seriously obviously. I mean my own links to internal pages within my own site. Like how many internal links is my home page alowed within my site? Yeh sorry I can see how inbound can mean something different.... |
