Anyone know if this bi*** is complete yet? Regarding PAW, every now and again the forums and the inner pages will show PR but then it will disappear. (yea I know it's probably accessing different datacenters) Likewise the homepage which for all practical purposes should have the highest PR has yet to show any. I have gotten us a few very nice backlinks from authoratative sites in the last 3-4 months so staying at 0 if it is complete can only mean one dreadful thing................that google misinterpreted our 301 redirect from partyriches.com.

I am thinking this is the longest pr update in google history.

I also noticed that your homepage had no pagerank while most other pages on your site do. I have no idea why though. I tested your link with a search engine friendly redirect checker and it says it's SE friendly.

Weird... Does your homepage get traffic from search engines?

how could google misinterpret that? Does that mean the 301 was not done right?

Yea, we get a ton. Anytime we put a news story or new article up it usually does fairly well in the google within a week. For example google "pokershare and excapsa" with or without the quotes and you will see it picks up our feb. 22nd news story on the homepage.

I know the homepage is getting spidered, I also know the 301 redirect is working as it does forward from partyriches.com. Strangley it's just the Google PR that has me confused. It should be passing on the PR5 that Partyriches had, and even if that wasn't getting passed on we have some PR5 and PR6 links out there going directly to PAW.

When PPP wakes up in about 6 hours I'm sure he'll have some insight for us. :P

The 301 redirect has been done correctly. Google doesn't always immediately catch the updated PR from the 301 redirect, even when it's done correctly. I had the same experience with a poker portal I was operating. Just give it another update or two and don't worry about it.

Four and a half hours....

I've been puzzling over this one for a week. It's not that odd that a 301 isn't recognized properly in terms of PR, although it isn't normal.

The homepage is linked to in javascript sometimes (like right click the home link here: http://www.pokeraffiliateworld.com/Party+R...s+eBook.cms.htm ), which is horrible, but there are some normal links to the homepage (especially from off site) so it should have PR.

Clearly it is PR5, but I guess it won't show till next update.

301 updates usually take a while to kick in, especially with Google. You will definitely receive your pagerank at the next PR update, these things take time.
