Live poker in cyprus?

Hi,

Anyone that knows if there is possible to find a live pokerroom at cyprus?

I am down here in the heat and thought that it would be nice to play some cards (if possible). Any ideas?

I am afraid that there is none. I have found some casinos "on the other side" but no live cardrooms. But I believe that PAW have a greater knowledge than the hotell personel and the search engines.

Thanks, but I tried that one already (found in google) but it seems like that is only casino and machines. No poker

Hi JBlixt,

In the Turkish side there are a lot of Casinos and its full legit. In the Greek side its not, you have only Bingo :-)

What are you doing in Cyprus?

I was born there at the RAF base in Akrotiri back in 1962.

Haven't been back there since 68.

I'm sure it's changed a lot in 40 years.

One of my fondest childhood memorys is roasting a whole goat on the beach every weekend, and playing in the surf with all the local kids.

I spoke more Greek than English back then. lol

I only found regular casinos and slot machines so I never went. Even the turkish side seems to play poker, but maybe i am wrong. So i decided to get drunk instead

Been on a week conference down here. Beutifull beaches and weather. If you can you should go back. But they say that the turkish side are very behind in development. The Greek side is as any other greek island (only hotells and bars...)

To bad i did not see this earlier. Would have been great fun to get some "inside" information. Unfortunatly I left yesterday and went to the rain in the north! Thanks for your kindness, maybee another time!
