Default The Tilt curse.

I'm absolutely positive that knocking out pros on tilt results in a never ending curse.

About 2 months ago, I kicked out my first pro on tilt. For about the next 2 weeks after that, I could not for the life of me keep a solid hand.

About a month ago, I kicked out yet another pro on tilt in a bigger MTT, and then 3 days later, I kicked out my third pro in the Fifty-Fifty. Well, for the past 3 and a half weeks, I continuously am getting screwed on the river. And I'm not talking about longshot hands either.

For example, just today, I had AA pocket and raised about 5 times the blind. Guy calls me. Flop is 6A9 all different suits, so I push in about a third of my stack. Guy raises me all in. I figure maybe a straight draw. Guy has garbage, J6os. Turn 6, River 6.

I've had that same scenario happen about 9 times in the past week and a half. Anyway, it's probably me having absolutely horrid luck, but I was wondering if anyone else has stumbled across this twist on tilt as I'm positive there's a ton of you that play on there.

I might have to go back to Doyle's at this rate. At least over there it's much softer play. I just don't like the tournament selection.

I sure know I would. I've got an RPG, a new hosting company (been in the business for 4 years and decided to get back in it), and a new ad network/service launching this month if I can get my crap together.

Well, I took your advice OBP, and did a 30 day self exclusion to give some time for my account to cool down since evidently, I'm not allowed to win fuck all on Tilt now.

I think I just might have to pull all my tilt ads and such and be done with them entirely.

Nicely done Gydian.

Bad runs happen in poker and you should be prepared.

Taking some time and going down on stakes for a while might help.

Good luck.

Thanks. I've decided to play on Doyle's. Seems a lot slower there. I turned $50 into $400 lastnight.
